Honest question... has anyone ever found the included Silkypix software to be better than - or even equal to - Lightroom, Aperture, iPhoto et al in terms of usefulness?
If by usefullness you mean the interface, then no.
Output is pretty good. But note that the Silkypix update referred to by the OP is not the same as the included software; by all accounts SP5 is pretty good with the files. I have not used it personally. It is pricey. I think it is Flysurfer's preferred converter??
