I won't say which room this is in, but I was contemplating what to shoot today and I looked up and remembered that I planned to take a picture here.
This is a canvas print of an LS Lowry from 1937 called The Black Stairs. The reason we have a print of this, is that this scene is from my home town (Wick in Caithness at the far north of the Scottish mainland). Lowry visited in 1936, when my late father would have been about 6 years old - so I always wonder if he is one of the figures in the picture.

This is an outstanding image, Karen.
I'm blown away by the all of the work you've exhibited in this challenge. If I could make an image this good in a year (or a lifetime?) I'd be happy, but you're creating amazing image after amazing image on a daily basis. Keep it up.

I really love the subtle tones and shadings of this image, Glen.
Also, looking at your work in this SiF, continues to remind me both of what a great camera the GX8 was... and still is. You are really getting some fine images with yours.
