An apple a day ...... some months ago a set of apple artworks were made by local artists. The apple industry is very important for the region. This one is installed permanently here, and various others were situated around the place, then auctioned for charity. I don't know where they are now, and unfortunately when they were on display I didn't think to photograph them.

Took a short walk this afternoon, tufted grass along the large pond in our little town, made a negative layer, then gave it a sepia tint.

Today the sun is shining

I set out specifically to do some close up work, this lens has a minimum focus distance of 0.15m which is one of the reasons I wanted it. I took a tripod and my three Godox MF12 flash units, plus a macro focus rail (which I stupidly forgot about, and which would have let me get in a little closer).

This one was taken at f/16, using two flash units (one handheld to the top right and the other set on the ground to the left). I would probably crop this one, but for here I wanted to show exactly what the lens took in.

I has this as well. It was a good camera. I liked it with the f2 50 macro.

Well the RX is not going to replace good telephoto those rear times I want one. But handy in a pinch. At one of my normal challenge photo spots and saw this guy. Not something I would even try with my normal challenge gear. But since I have 200mme....
