I'm not using the best camera for this image, but needs must.
In making my attempt to comply with UK lockdown rules this is what my world has shrunk to, the village of East Charleton and those few fields surrounding it. My cottage is on the left of the image about one eighth of the way into the image, difficult to see but then I know its there and you don't. Up until about 60 years ago the large paler field between the village and the horizon consisted of 10 small fields consisting mostly of apple orchards which also served to graze sheep, how times have changed.
In solidarity with all of my comrades here who are struggling with photographic inspiration during these difficult times, I here and now post the official "Shot of Desperation". Sic Transit Gloria Mundi.
After work, a shot near the local pub that has featured in an earlier SiJ. And no, not my after-work watering hole (not lately, especially). Just one of the only establishments with the lights on and the sidewalk not rolled up by 6 pm!
