Single In Single in January (SiJ) 2021 - day 4

My dad loved Miles Davis... I was never able to appreciate that style of music :)

Today, I got out of the house. Had to, ran out of meds, so visited a local cemetery after the pharmacy visit. I’ve photographed her before, a few years back.

Not sure if I can get out of the house today as work has turned up a notch...so I got this one of the wife. I secured permission to post even before taking the shots! I'm a dumb galloot, but not that dumb! LOL

It's a brilliant portrait, Andrew... and a great photograph, too.

My photograph today is inspired by Matt's thoughtful entry for this day - reminding me of Miles Davis, and of how many times I have listened to his music. I still have a handful of old Miles Davis records, bought in a previous lifetime, and my Dual record player somehow manages to soldier on in this new digital millennium---

Several great musicians have expressed a similar thought, I think the way Miles Davis put it, was: "There are no wrong notes in jazz, only notes in the wrong places."
