Carnage picked up around the yard this morning after heavy wind and rain the past two nights. Clockwise from upper left: Pignut Hickory, Norway Maple, White Oak, Northern Red Oak, Northern Catalpa, Red Maple, and American Sweetgum. We have a lot of trees surrounding our house.

Now that’s funny. I missed it when it aired. But it’s my go to show at the moment for those idle times in life. I just paused S3E7 to post my 24 entry today.

Impromptu walk this morning with my mum after her hair appointment was cancelled, this artwork adorns the side of an otherwise plain looking Telstra exchange building...

Not sure why the sugar glider is riding the freshwater crayfish but they both appear to be fleeing the wrath of an octopus...

Ooh, a sore point Tony! Cyclists are not allowed in those woods as they churn up the paths, but lots of them ignore the signs anyway. It's that sort of behaviour that gives cyclists a bad name.

The area around and near Hart Mountain, in eastern Oregon, has been inhabited by humans for a little longer than 10,000 years. In some areas, they left images - petroglyphs - inscribed in the rock and stones, which have survived through the millenia.

On Friday, went for a hike to a small local lake on the mountain plateau, surrounded by magical looking rocks and stones which one person described as 'sacred places', and another as a 'medicine place'.

Among the petroglyphs which I saw there, this was my favorite.
