Looking very incongruous in the field next door - a new transformer waiting to be installed by the power company tomorrow onto a replacement pole on the other side of the field. That will be no electricity for me for most of the day...

My most productive day so far with my chosen gear, there are loads of technically better images than this one which were shot by me today but 1) I like it and 2) the good thing about this SIN thing is that you get to choose what goes on.

A rock sculpture outside my brother's house, in Crestone, Colorado, where I have been staying for a few days. The mountains in the distance are the Sangre de Cristo range, the southernmost of the Rockies.

My phone is only letting me select like to tonight but I really like a lot of these photos today. I'd comment more but the predictive text pays me no attention and writes it's own thing!
The stair rails in this building look like this. If you look close however, you will notice that this rail is located in the setback of the window. You can’t use it as a rail and it’s just there as a decorative piece, probably because this is a below ground level window and doesn’t have the best view. The funny part is that I just noticed this today.

This is a window in the powder magazine of the Keep Fort in Bermuda, now a museum.
These were cut in the walls and glazed, so that a lantern could be set inside and cast light within without allowing sparks or flame near the powder.
That would be undesireable.

About to get in my car for work today, I saw the nice thick fog from the garden and decided to take a some fast safety shots. Chose this one, cropped off the garden fence.
Ideally there would be a bird or something to fill in the negative space.
