Sassafras albidum, Sassafras. Originally the source of flavoring for root beer, some candies, and tea, the use of Sassafras as a food additive has been banned in the US since 1970 because it contains a high concentration of the compound safrole, which our FDA has identified as a carcinogen. Some people still brew tea from the roots and bark, but it's not encouraged by scientists.

With a test approaching, my physical chemistry class has a newfound interest in office hours. Later, I noticed the whiteboard had a interesting look to it as the afternoon light came through the windows. The "erased" underwriting became clearly visible again, showing the former layers of erased answers. Evidently, I explain things in a 2.39 to 1 cinematic crop.
