Now you may ask "why a banana in a colander?". Well, my wife was going out to pick some of the remaining tomatoes from the greenhouse (hence the colander to carry them in) and decided to put an over-ripe banana into the greenhouse to help the last few green fruits to ripen. Auxins and all that. OK?

Well, there's a luck! After doing a big grocery shop and getting stuck in an elevator with a full trolley and a woman who kept coughing,
all's well and we eventually got out of it. My mood was glum driving home, when I suddenly passed this glorious Chevrolet Impala (1964)
on a view-point by the side of the road. I quickly turned in and took a few photos; they were booked for a photo shoot and waiting for their client

I was in picturesque Canterbury, Kent on business today, seemingly ideal for the SIS challenge but none of those images made the final entry for today. No, it was Sheila's Kitchen, an abandoned motorway cafe for truck drivers somewhere else in Kent which we came across on the way back to London.

A very pleasant after work photo trip to a place I've visited numerous times. This is my fairy forest, a rabbits hole where there always seems to be more exploring ahead. Not sure whether this is even the best shot from the trip, but there are more important issues awaiting, so this shall do for todays entry. Maybe I'll post the rest in the outtakes tomorrow.
