Single In Single in September (SiS) 2023 - day 30

Honesty Library. (SOOC)

At the Columboola Veterans Retreat. The idea is that, if you take a book, then you leave one of your own in return. That way, everybody gets to enjoy the library.

Ta Da! Last one then. There’s more than a fair share of what I call “medical people” in my family which means one tends to find bits of paper like this lying around which in very simple terms shows a professional attempting to explain something to a lay person. Which was handy in terms of getting an SIS shot and not having to go out. That’s it for me then, no outtakes today, so well done everyone.

What have I learned this month :hmmm: the Panasonic goes back on the bookshelf :laugh1:. I especially missed a viewfinder and find it difficult to see what you are photographing with just a screen, especially when the sun is shining on it. Last month I took pictures in the village where I live and some of the surrounding area. It was a real pleasure again and until next time.

Apologies for the lack of entries from me for a couple of days, but I managed to get in there with a late entry for day 29, and for the last day of the challenge today!

Family were well enough for a little walk outside, so we went to a local park where they have a miniature railway for the kids.

Found it tough this month, I am not going to lie. That being said, I put myself as much into my comfort zone as I could. I love this XT5, and I also love the venerable XF 35mm 1.4.

Might have to look at getting the newer 33mm 1.4 WR, to see what the full use of all those megapickles look like....

Just before sunup, I went out to the side yard, upped the ISO to 25,600, and snapped a couple quick shots....
I didn't realize the dog got into, and added to, the photo when I shot it.
Took the very grainy photo and ran it through Photo AI a few different ways, until I like how it turned out.
So not my best by far, but there is something about it I like. The street light, the moon peeking though, Beau taking it in.
I don't know....But it's a good last photo for this Single in.

Just wanted to say I have really loved seeing your photos with the tiny GF1, Hanneke. They were uniformly excellent and it has been really fun to learn that this old camera is still such a fine photographic device
