My twins first birthday today, so I am afraid (rather cliche) it's a photo of my son enjoying his first ever slice of birthday cake! Mmmmm!

It's their party tomorrow, so cannot promise there won't be a similar entry for tomorrow either! Sorry in advance.

Funny, I realised just now, that the first photo I ever took with my XT5, was of my son when he was just around 2 months old.

We went to a pick-your-own apple orchard today with kids, grandkids, and friends. This is an Ida Red, which is a delicious cooking apple. They last for over a year if you have some extra refrigerator space. Every year we come and have a picnic there, where my wife brings an apple cake and my daughter brings an apple pie, both made with the previous year's apples.

Shot about 20 frames trying to get this close to what I envisioned. Had to take it into Affinity to deal with dust that landed as I was shooting (and became way too obvious on final output sharpening). Still not quite what I wanted, but I think best of today's batch.
