Single In Single in September (SiS) 2023 - outtakes day 16-20

Now that I've taken a second look at these I really doubt whether I picked the best one for day 18. I do have to admit that it's really quite challenging doing this kind of photography within the time constraints of this challenge. Taking the pictures takes some time and a good edit takes even more time.

Outtakes day 19, picture 4 is what I was keen on getting, it is a somewhat interesting building, a 18th century bath house and what is left of the estate that laid on the waterfront there, sans some ruins of the main building that burnt to the ground in 1913. Had a bit more moody shot in my thoughts as the weather was forecasted to be wet, dark and foggy but that can wait for another day.

The rest is targets of opportunities, but as I seldom gets to the beach these days, living inland I fancied getting some sea and stuff in the picture of the day. The site is also my childhood beach, within reach on bike or bus, but it has been quite a bit of development on the site since those days.

Not that it matters as such, but I think I made an all time high, in a "normal" shooting situation with 380 something exposures during the 2.5 hours I spent there today, much of it being water and waves and not particularly interesting, but I somehow pushed my limits further into the "digital mindset" without going overboard. Not that I equal quantity with quality, but there is something in the process of tweaking this and that, trying and testing that I havent done much of earlier.

The one thing I didnt bring based on the weather forecast was my filters, which would have come in handy with the actual weather I got.

SIS day 19 Outtakes.

The lonely seat looking over the gas incomer, pressure regulator and meter for the site. Obviously it is a thrilling view and should be on the "must see" list for tourism Red Deer. The view from the observation deck overlooking the river and finally the staircase down to the river. I've used the staircase on another single in challenge so that is why it's here in the outtakes.

Those letterboxes are very cool, @JensM

Outtakes Day 20:

ANZAC Square:

The only reason this is an Outtake is that I have so many better photos of this subject than this SOOC version. I just thought YUK! - Until I precessed the raw file.
