I like this treatment quite a bit, David - but I really loved the one on the photo you posted officially on today's thread. I think you definitely made the correct decision.

The colors in this second shot - the one of what looks like a painting, exhibited in a gallery window - are quite subtle and wonderful.
I'm curious, Andrew, since you have been using so many intriguing - and compelling - different color 'profiles' from your K-1 --- was this particular shot taken with a K-1 profile? And if so, which one?
Thanks, Miguel. That was with the Miyabi profile, underexposed a little. It's probably the most overall useful profile in the camera, for me. The K-1 is really good at capturing subtlety in lower light.
It's a decent watch for a current Timex IMHO, and I like it. Biggest problem for me is the crown being a bit too small for my fingers, with current dexterity issues I can barely wind it. Wouldn't have been an issue even 5 years ago. At some point in the near future I'm going to have to let it go. Movement on this is almost smooth, the bps is high enough I can barely see the second hand twitch as it goes around.
Correct, hand-wound mechanical. Most crowns I see these days are small stubby things that would be difficult to use by anyone with larger fingers as well as those with dexterity/ strength issues. They work OK when extended for setting the watch, but once pressed back to the case they can be problematic. Some mechanicals (Hamilton, Laco, etc...) still have crowns that are larger, or extend further from the case, or have the older-style flared crown.
