Cute perhaps? but not engaging enough and perhaps a little too much in the shadows.

Frankly, when looking at the prints, it was a toss-up between today's two shots, but the "street" shot scanned a little better. I'm very pleased with the technical quality of both of them. Flatbed scanning helped a bit, too.

EDIT: P.S. I've phased out the GR as a digital companion to the RF70 - the G1X III simply does a better job; I wouldn't have though I'd ever say this, but it's undeniable.

Day 12. Great light very windy and large threatening 18 percent grey clouds.
Great.
Off to take Tara out for he usual 2.5 morning miles.
Charged battery ? Check
Sd card ? Check
Belt clit for Tara’s lead ? Check
(It’s gusty so I need both hands)
After a mile and a half I see the scene I wanted. But. Did I actually check the camera was in the bag ? NO .
That is a drawback of having a lightweight camera I suppose.

The X30 is heavy enough (but light compared to the XT-10) that I'd know for sure if it wasn't in the bag. However, when you're rushing out of the house, dragging heavy backpacks (because the Middle School apparently is training kids to be Tri-Athletes) plus every thing else in order to make drop off time, leaving the ENTIRE BAG hanging on the hook next to the car keys is not just a real possibility.
