Feedback Site behaving differently (and not for the better)

The first thing I noticed earlier today is that in my reply window the text editor has all options greyed out:
(Bold, italics, add a link, emojies etc - nothing doing). Even if I use CTRL + B or CTRL + I, those don't work either.

The other change is that I am currently unable to drag and drop images into the reply window.
I am forced to use the "Attach Files" tab below the active window, find the folder, find the image, select it,
the use the "insert" + "full image" functions.

Much more of a schlepp. Was this an intentional change, or is it just me, or is it a temporary glitch?

UPDATE

I was using Edge as my PC browser when I wrote the above, I closed that and logged in through Firefox
and now the site is behaving in the expected manner - drag and drop works and the text editing tools are available

Irene, see my answer in the other thread: It's most probably (in Edge) the "Toggle BB Code" switch ...

et voila ! we're back.
I would never have thought to toggle the BB code on purpose, since I don't use BB codes but that fixed it like a charm
