Yes.
Because there's a lot of different gear being used by members there are no hard rules about what gets posted where but in short there are vendor specific "gear" forums with corresponding "showcase" sub-forums and then there are the various "gallery" forums.
In the case of Sony, general talk about Sony gear? In this forum. Images to talk about or demonstrate specific Sony gear (images from a particular body, a particular lens, and so on)? The Sony "showcase" forum. Want to share images or get feedback on images or contribute to some of the ongoing topical galleries? The "gallery" forums.

A Sony shooter here! Back at the end of November 2019 I made the total switch from Nikon to Sony, and have been very happy with my Sony bodies and lenses ever since.
