Some fireworks

New York State allows the sale of ground-based non-explosive fireworks to citizens. For the Fourth, some friends bought some. I shot over 250 pix. Here's a sampling:

I like this one (#1) because it shows the surroundings and everything that's going on in the firework.

Yeah, I like it too. There is an enormous amount of chance involved in shooting fireworks. I used manual focus and let the camera make the exposure decisions, but there is no way of predicting what a particular pyrotechnic is going to do next. Nevertheless, it was fun!
