I ordered my FZ1000 this morning and I can't wait til it gets here. I don't think I've looked forward to a camera this much since getting my first DSLR almost 10 years ago.

Those are really excellent. And the video quality on top. Something like that really could be an all in one travel camera. Maybe with something else like the RX1 in the bag for low light. My only thing would be wanting something wider than 24-25mm. At which point, I'd be into an ILC anyway, so may as well just bring a couple of lenses and go that way. But if not for love of wiiiiiiiiide, a camera like this or the RX10 really could do just about everything...
