Fuji Something wrong with my XT1?

Dear all,

I have a nasty feeling my XT-1 is faulty.....again.

Can someone confirm that the Frame No. amount shown in the viewfinder should go above 1000 in JPEG only mode? I have a 128GB card that shows the same number of available frames whether I am in RAW mode, JPEG mode, RAW+JPEG etc etc.

I have tried this with a different card and the same happens.

Thoughts greatly recieved as I'm getting frustrated now.

You will probably have to reset the frame counter.

Thanks but I've tried that (by using the reset option in the menu) and it hasn't worked........

I don't think the Reset option resets the frame counter.

You have to follow the usual "procedure", aka format the card after changing the frame counter method in the menu to Renew. Also see tip 7 in my X-E2 book.
