This one is being bought new, Popflash just received a shipment yesterday.
The new Sonnars are optimized for G1.5 on a Zeiss film camera. From Popflash: "Additionally, as shown in the description, Zeiss cannot guarantee if the lens will be optimized at f/1.5 on digital cameras, so we would not be able to guarantee the lens supplied would be optimized. However, if the lens were not optimized, Zeiss would allow you to send the lens in to Zeiss Germany for optimization."
That does not worry me. If it back-focuses slightly, I will build up the cam like I did on the 50/1.1 Nokton and 35/1.2 Nokton. If it front-focusses slightly at F1.5, it will be perfect at F2 on the M9 and F1.5 on the M8. I ended up optimizing several Sonnars and J-3's in Leica thread mount for the Digital cameras.

The new Sonnar arrived. It was a cloude weekend, decided to bring the new lens, 1936 Sonnar, and a 1955 KMZ J-3 with the Leica M8 to the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum.
