Fuji Spoiled by the Fuji Sensor

Rookie
I went from a canon 7D for birding and wildlife and general use to using an X Pro 1 for general use. I was really impressed by both raw and jpeg straight from the camera and the more I learned to use it the better it became.

However, I missed taking bird in flight pictures, so I picked up a Canon 7D II and a couple of L lenses the other day. The camera is amazing! Focus is blistering fast and the features are incredible. I guess over the last year and a half I really got use to the Fuji sensor because about the first 50 pictures I was very disappointed. I have my process figured out now, but if Fuji ever puts a sensor in a camera that is capable of catching BIF's, I'll be the first in line.

Now, I'd do something like that by prefocussing, like this:

Please forgive the small file sizes. These are ancient film scans. Must redo them someday. The falcon was shot with an F90x in M/F and the hummingbird with a 90mm tele-elmarit on a Leica M7 .85
