Was up in the Napa Valley Saturday to take my mother to dinner for her birthday, and while I was there, had a spot of time to take some photos of the interesting stone buildings around St. Helena, CA.

Pritchard Building, 1906. This used to be the Greyhound bus station, now it is a set of professional offices and suites. I love the continuity of brown tones from the bricks to the doors, window and even Bireley's root beer logo.

Taylor, Duckworth and Co. Foundry Building, also a historic landmark.

Mansfield home on Conn Valley Road, near Howell Mtn Road. This home probably dates from the mid-1870s as the winery structure across the road (which has collapsed) dates from 1874. I love how the current owners have let the home just acquire it's own patina of use and age.
