Dark evening. The Pentax Q doesn't handle low light and low shutter speeds very well. It's pretty much a daylight and summer-ish setup.

I was inspired by the recent pictures here to do an evening stroll through the town for night street images, though it was after a 12.5-hour shift so I wasn't going to stay long and after 19:00 this small town slows down so much that you barely see people outside of pubs and takeaways. All the images have not been noise-suppressed, mostly ISO 25.600.

I did not expect to find this kind of graffiti in a small UK town ... is it a translation for Danger Asbestos?

A random cat in the street, I didn't even know what it was until I looked on the back screen because it was that dark. I didn't edit the image beyond cropping a bit to avoid the edges of cars and lens correction profiles.

I've decided to call these shots from the Lomo LC-A pseudo-panoramas, because I scratched the film using a rubber film squeegee. A continuous line in the top third of the image, ugh! But I think the crop looks kind of cool.

I had the chance to go to Sidmouth (South England) to visit The Donkey Sanctuary for work.

The weather was awful, with 20 miles per hour winds and rain showers.

The Atlantic was very rough and turbulent.

At first, it looks quite nice, with breaks in the clouds, shining light in different parts, making the coast really pop out.

I've been here a little over a year ago and that helped to have some ideas in my mind about what I could make (with my limited time there).

I love the roofs of the houses in Sidmouth, they look so aged (with how much wind and rain they get).

Some brilliant photos there, Ovi. I especially like the close ups of the boats and the nets... they'd look really good on your wall.
