I love your image, its very powerful. I also love how clean it is for a 25.600 ISO but i do see you passed to through LLM denoiser, the faces of the women on top of the balcony look very ghostly 😛 (inconsequential for the story of the image though)
Yes, micro four thirds at 25,600 ISO...never thought I would get a keeper but AI noise reduction has made a huge difference for me. It has reduced my interest in moving to a large sensor system. We tend to travel pretty light so keeping the system size compact is important to me.

Same situation for me, mainly with telephoto and supertelepho lenses for wildlife. And after discovering my passion for macro I added that reason as well. And I need the 7-8 stops IBIS because of my health problems makes my hands tremble to much for less effective IS.
I just wish either Pany or OMDS would give us higher resolution sensor and compact camera with PDAF (rangefinder type for me).

My hands aren't as steady as they used to be, either. I was quite happy with Fuji put IBIS in the X100VI. I'm with you on your camera wish; if a GX9-successor debuted with PDAF, 24-ish MP and a better EVF (although that's not a necessity for me) I would buy it immediately.
