i really like this one--the framing, distance, executiion all right on to my eye. and one of my favorite subjects, a person alone in the city...

A sony RX1. As I recall..that's an in-camera B&W Jpeg.

That's an interesting shot...did you wait by the skeleton pictures for someone interesting to show up?

Eric J, nice work, particularly that first batch. Pete, I love those last two. Rpavitch - great start. Maybe try some more crowded areas - I find crowds really liberating for shooting people at close range...

I was just shooting the skeletons, but realised it might be good to have a live person in there too; so I shot the first people to go by.
It was pure serendipity that she happened to be pregnant and so provided a nice juxtaposition.

this reads much better as an image flipped horizontally, but then the shop name is also reversed - annoying.

True Ray...unfortunately where I live there ARE no crowds...small town.

I'm going to try local fairs and festivals while I can so that I can get better shots with more people in them or available to be in them.
