I haven't been doing much street work at all lately - I think a few days in New York in May was probably the last time. I still love doing it, but I've lost some of the urge to really go seek out places for it. But I spent the day in Atlantic City on Thursday, walking the boardwalk, which is sort of like the beachy version of New York City - a melting pot extraordinaire. I shot with a combination of the Df and Nikon A - an all Nikon day. I just seem to mesh with their controls and interface like with nothing else. In a relatively sparse and quiet environment like the boardwalk was for a lot of Thursday, I prefer the smaller, quieter Nikon A. But in a crowd, like the boardwalk got to be later in the day and in the evening, the Df is a pretty wonderful street (and everything else) camera. Here's a sampling:
