Thanks Dale, appreciated.4, 5, 6, 8 - really like.
Pete,
I absolutely loved the first one -- very "atmospheric."
What was the focal length of the lens?
Cheers, Jock
Did the same thing to me when I saw it. I saw it sort of developing from a distance, the dog doing it's business and her waiting patiently for it, NOT smelling it's ass by the way, then she bends over to pick it up and the dog treats here like it treats any other dog it meets on the street. I'm not even sure she was aware of it, but I was in near hysterics as I tried to get a shot of it... Sort of a man bites dog story but different...

Ray, I'm aware this is probably a ridiculous question (I do realise there are millions of folks in Philly), but have you ever come across the inspirational street photographer Alan Barr in your photographic travels over there? Love the shoes picture btw.A few from Philly yesterday.

I've heard his name and have seen some of his stuff, but I've never met him. Or at least I'm not aware of it if I have. Of Philly street shooters, I know Don Springer (who used to hang out here a lot) very well - he really sort of got me into the whole thing several years ago. I'm pretty sure I've run into Mike Penn a couple of times, but didn't know it was him until later. I'm sure there are quite a few more that I don't know and have never heard of, as they've never heard of me! Looking through Alan's flickr stream though, we sure do inhabit the same places - Philly's downtown isn't all that big and there aren't that many streets with enough regular foot traffic to make for consistently good street shooting. So I see most of the same streets where I hang out in his work, Reading Terminal Market, the Italian Market, etc. He seems to hit the Mummer's Parade every year - I've missed the last 3-4 of those for a variety of reasons.Ray, I'm aware this is probably a ridiculous question (I do realise there are millions of folks in Philly), but have you ever come across the inspirational street photographer Alan Barr in your photographic travels over there? I always look at your pictures a few times Ray, just to make sure I didn't miss anything
