Shot in and around Shilin Night Market, Taipei Taiwan on a quiet weekend after a typhoon with the Fuji X-E1 and Fujinon XF14mm. Most shots done with auto ISO, manual focus to infinity, f/8 or close to it. The XE1 and 14mm are a great hipshot combo.

Hey T, if you moved to Taiwan yesterday from ... St. Louis ... would you find crowds and closeness suffocating? Or is ir easy to adjust ... or it's not nearly as crowded as you portray?

Taipei is surrounded by mountains so it is crowed due to restricted space to grow, I live at the base of one of those mountains. It also seems that people prefer to live close to each other and everything else, at least the city people.

Drive a bit east to the coast and it is a completely different world, but in Taipei and the other cities it is close quarters.

I've never been to St Louis. Too far from the ocean.

On and these shots were just as the market was opening, an hour or so later the night market is wall to wall people.

I think the 14mm lens is known as being near distortion free.

Street shots? Just out and about. Last night went to dinner then walked to an old hotel that is now a bunch of boutique shops, they had a party we attended. Tonight's trip is to a concert/micro brew fest.
