Pointless grab shot of Centennial hops growing up my back porch. 27 lens, post tweaking in Polarr. After a week off of shooting (post 2 week trip to Africa AND 5 day trip to Wisconsin), I finally couldn't stand it, and had to operate a camera again.
Backyard BBQ at a friend's. I only brought the 27 pancake on the XT, and the last few frames of some 35mm Ektar 100 in the old minolta to finish off. The 27 is soooo portable, and so easy to use. I sometimes miss another lens, but for goofing off on the weekend it's perfectly capable.
The light weight and slightly-wider-than-the-35 focal length make it pretty easy to frame and shoot while riding. The 18 end of the kit zoom is too wide, really - I have to bike so close to get faces "into" the picture with it. The 27 is a great length for shooting a fellow bike from about 6 or 7 feet away.
