Thank you. Kids as a subject is just what I have around me, but I'm finding that they make great trainers for photojournalists.
- They're not patient. You'll need to be quick and get it right, fast.
- They're not actors. They're a-doin' what they're a-doin'. If you'd like a shot of it, you need to be sneaky and do it quickly before they notice you.
- They're very emotional, so you get lots of practice at trying to convey that emotion with pictures.
In the case of the glowing swings, she was on them for 5 minutes, so I got a lot of chances. Focus was tough.
