My 28mm Summicron F2 ASPH had a loose front section after shooting for a couple of days straight... and noticed some loose screws. The front section that holds the filter thread moves clockwise and counter, but it doesn't seem to tighten up either way.

Any DIY solution? Though I don't like to DIY, but there's no Leica repair / store here yet, although there's one opening soon (April), not sure what services they can render and how fast they can fix. Shall I wait? or is there a DIY for this? TIA.

I've not dealt with this lens- but "typically" screws have taps at the correct position, and often with an underlying rim that would allow the ring to turn clockwise/counterclockwise as you describe. Tightening the screws should hopefully stop the turning. Just be careful the screws do not come out completely.
