Leica Summilux R 50mm version 1

I've finally got off my bum and started a thread for this great lens. I use it on a Leica R7 for film shooting and a Canon 6D for digital. I love all it's characteristics - large aperture, colour rendition, 3Dness, sharpness and wicked flare given the right conditions. If anyone else has (or lusts after) one feel free to add to this thread.

I had one- on the original Leicaflex, but could not warm up to the SLR. The lens was the reason that I bought the camera, it's great. Put that in the regret I sold it category.

Love the pictures with the Toy dog in it. Nikki -when a toddler- had a toy "Tigger: that went everywhere and did everything, including swinging side-by-side with her.
