Infrared Gear Sun Yat Sen Garden - Infrared B&W

Just a few snaps taken with X-E1, 35mm 1.4, and Hoya R72 filter. Evidently I am too thick to figure out color channel swapping, so I am stuck with simple B&W conversions. Love the rendering of the 35mm and its relatively close focus. The AF seems to hunt worse with the IR filter on though. The first few were shot off a tabletop tripod and then I started playing around with hand-held shots with ISO at 3200-6400.

Nope, Vancouver BC. IIRC one of the bigger if not biggest gardens of this style in North America.

I have just been to the garden in Vancouver. I think your pics are lovely. I have always wanted to try infrared.
