All-Pro
Briefly checked Craig's List on Saturday, oh heck, search on "Leica."

50mm Summilux ASPH, 2011, great condition, 1/3 lower than prevailing used prices. Case, box, Leica UV filter.

Erm ... Heh?

Met at a coffee shop, checked the lens, paid the man.

Here is my first sunset walk with it. Yes ... this is a great lens. Which is a bit of an understatement. Here are some of the shots.

Thanks Vince and Brian. But it goes to show - be careful when looking on eBay or Buy/Sell forums or Craigslist. If you see a great deal, act or regret you didn't. Or do act, and wonder what you just did to the budget, heh!

Yes, this is a great lens. I'm surprised with how small it is compared to the Canon FD f1.4, which isn't huge to start with.

The Canon 50/1.4 FD and second version FL: long drawn out optical path to minimize spherical aberration... Aspherical optics accomplish the same purpose with fewer elements and less path...
