Micro 4/3 Taj Mahal & Delhi

Wonderful images Ian - plus your usual high quality presentation etc.,

Hard to choose a favourite - as so many are very good

The "street" shots are just full of interest

Thanks All,

The trip was a true test of the GX1 and it performed perfectly and rewarded me with images I am happy with, the camera was easy to carry for long periods (the hand grip helps a lot as I tend to hand carry so ready to shoot when presented with the right subject), AF is instant even in lower light and IQ is brilliant with higher ISO being clean rather than grainy above 400 like the GF1 was.

I did use the 45-175X lens for quite a few images and it did perform well but alas does not have the clarity or bite of my previous 45-200 so suspect I will be parting with it and returning to the 45-200.

I have to say that I am dissapointed with the "X" lenses and for me, the still images produced are definately not of premium quality!

Thanks Norman that is a real compliment.

I have to admit that in my opinion the GX1 is a very worthy upgrade from the GF1 and I have been waiting for 2yrs for it to come along and have no regrets - I did sell my GF1+LVF1 privately and it covered more than half of the price of the GX1.
