Testing Out a "New" OM-1N with Zuiko 50/1.8

Our younger son is taking his first traditional photo class next semester and needed a manual 35mm camera with a 50mm lens. We found an OM-1 in exceptional shape for a good price. 'Loaded up a fresh Wein Cell 1.35V battery and some Fuji film and went for a walk. What fun. My wife and I both gave the camera a thumbs up. :)

the background rendering from that Zeiss is gorgeous
Much better than that from Fujis's own 35/1.4 in most situations IMO, esp. wide open.
I have two OM-1, an OM-2, some nice Zuikos (and my trusty X-Pro1) lying right next to me and lots of rolls in the fridge but haven't shot a single frame in years :crying:.
