Thanks for visiting this site, in which country / area do you live ?

I live in East Texas, about eight or so miles north of Canton Texas. That's my place with a red roof.

Well I'm probably one of the only one's that has remained concealed. I'm on a little property (120 acres) an hour and a bit outside of Canberra, Australia. Before anybody asks "I've heard of Sydney and Melbourne but where is this Canberra place?"..... it is the capital city of Australia ;)

So I work in Canberra as a Public Servant, but was born and spent most of my life in Sydney....and, yes, I certainly do miss that little thing called "culture"...as anyone who knows Canberra, also knows that it's a little on the bland or sedate side. Those who didn't, just read Bill Bryson's "Down Under" (I think) where he gives Canberra the review it most keenly deserves.:D

I live in Huntsville, Alabama. We have the NASA space and rocket center where they used to have space camp. We also have the Redstone Arsenal which contains Marshall Space flight center and JPL. I am originally from(born and raised) in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm still a Floridian at heart(pppssst, don't tell my girlfriend).

What a marvellous "community" we have on the Forum - lots of interesting and friendly people - it would be great if we "got together" one day - probably not possible "physically"

Maybe we could do a "mega skype" at an "appointed hour" and "raise a glass" - I'll have a shower and comb my hair, (what little there is), and I'll ask AzPete to be on his "best behaviour" - not sure if it's possible technically - remember here in "rural" Europe broadband is very slow.

Great idea. I suggest we meet at your house in France, once it's completed! If I recall correctly, someone in this forum is a plumber. So he can help you with the house too!
