As ever these past 11 years, we had Thanksgiving with our friends that used to live near us in Madison. This year they came to see our new home in Hood River. He had to go back, but she's hanging out for an additional week. Some shots from the 5 days...

Beautiful shots! I am in love with the second one! That moss (I think it is moss) on the stones makes it pop and look almost like it is popping off the photo.

It is indeed moss. Everything here is covered in moss. It's amazing.

Christmas indeed... we'll be flying to Atlanta, then driving to a mountain town in North Carolina with my mom. Camera will be glue to my hand, as usual.
