Music The Amazing Emporium of Wondrous Tunes (aka: What are you listening to?)

First, this is probably my least favorite Beatles' song.
Second, I usually have an unofficial "no reggae past 1980 rule".

Third, when I'm on vacation somewhere sunny, I'll listen to some of the worst pablum, if it suits the weather. Lying by the pool in Cancun, this dud sounded pretty good.

I do hate to see a rover crippled in the stones
Now he's one step nearer to the ground
And I do hate to see a hawker broken in the bones
(Chorus)
Sickness and diseases pull you down, pull you down
Sickness and diseases pull you down
Everybody's got the sickness, everybody's down
Running to the doctor with a pound
"Doctor, doctor, do you have a needle big enough for me?"
(Chorus)
(Chorus)
My friend Billy, well he looks so ill, his face is white as milk
Everybody runs for miles when he's in town
He's got every known disease and some without a name
(Chorus)
If you want to live to be a poor man or a prince
Pay good attention when evil times abound
Always listen to what your mother says and stay in bed at night
(Chorus)
(Chorus)

... good to know there are folks like you appreciating and showcasing great music from trios such as Mr Ahmed. Yet another band I've never heard of. If I lived 20 lifetimes it would still not be long enough to hear all of them. Wonderful stuff. It does reming me a little of "Jazz at the pawnshop". Thanks.

In these times I really love to listen to Mr. Ahmad Jamal and this trio or quartet.
What an amazing pianist, who will turn 90 in July.

'Complete live at the Pershing' just dropped thru the door. Wonderful stuff and a lift on this gloomy Sunday. Off topic for a photo forum but would appreciate more suggestions - thanks again.
