Music The Amazing Emporium of Wondrous Tunes (aka: What are you listening to?)

Hey All,

Anybody here like that 60s pop... It's ok to admit it! 👍 Songs like...

Yep. Like Tommy Roe and The McCoys. Also like Herman's Hermits and Petula Clark, among many others in pop/ rock/ blues.

Hey All,

I really like Herman's hermits and downtown is a classic...

Here is one from 1968... I was grade 7 an I had a crush on a girl named Inez. This song fit. Of course nobody in grade seven understands all the nuances ...

Now truth be told her parents had an artic cat snowmobile that I loved just as much ...

Hey All,

Right outta northern Idaho - Colby Acuff recorded this song...

However I really like this cover. Her voice is amazing... Colby's versions are as good.

Quite a statement on the state of the world is how I see it...

When I am working with video/stills, I often have my DAW up and at least one keyboard attached as I like to create music that matches images/videos. Sometime I just fire up a bunch of loops that seem to have the feel I want or using various instruments in my DAW record live. I am surprised at how much my imaging (stills/video) seem to have a symbiotic relationship with music.
