If animals could only speak I wonder what they'd say. This guy has perfect balance. He could have been an iron worker in a previous life, eating his lunch on the 60th floor of a skyscraper under construction.

Spent a few days with friends on the Oregon coast. Yesterday, we drove to Newport, where the annual herring spawning is taking place - hundreds and thousands of herring congregate - and the local sea lion population turns out for what is essentially a massive multiple-day meal of small herring fish. If you look closely, you can see the live herring which this particular sea lion has just captured (between its front teeth) and is about to swallow.
