Blue jay and squirrel in one shot... Wonderful! I like all jays, but blue jays are the prettiest jays I know of, unfortunately we don't have them here in Europe.

Loads of squirrels at the WV State Capitol, including a few imported Black Squirrels. Cheeky little things walked up to within a foot of me, standing on their back legs and reaching out like they knew me. Visitors must feed them a lot.

This critter crept into the yard to partake of the goodies I had put out. I was standing in the open about 15 feet away. It seemed unsure what to do next. In the image of the squirrel standing on its legs looking at me, it was actually trembling. Never saw that before. They're in our yard enough to know we're not a threat to them.
