Yes the site [Lysterfield Park in Melbourne] is only 25 min drive from home.
We only recently discovered it and it's a great place for wildlife.
There is a large lake there as well so along with the abundance of non shy Kangaroos and Wallabies, there is lots of birdlife ....so waders, gulls, Cormorants etc along with Cockatoos, Wrens etc.
and the place itself is quite photogenic

Back to the zoo today. We get in early as members and beat the stroller crowd and the heat. We use the zoo as an exercise walk as well as a place to photograph. Our weather is hot now and so early morning is best for riding in my vintage Porsche 911 SC.
