I was at the park a few days ago and after dropping a couple of chocolate buttons we had Pink Panther sneaking around the bench.

I got close, very close, moving left and right like Bruce Lee measures their opponent.

At one point I thought it would lick my lens ... I mean that Sony FE 85mm f 1.8 is D-E-L-E-C-I-O-U-S.

And the Squirrel screamed at me: YOU ... ARE A DOG PERSON.

This is fabulous. It's like a movie poster for Squirrel Jurassic Park.
Yeah.
Just imagine it around 7m tall, 4m wide and 12m long, weighing around 8-10 tonnes, with 14" long teeth ...
And only able to lift around 200 Kgs with each of its "puny, useless little arms".

There's your everyday "squirrel rex" ... 😮

That was my first reaction when I saw the picture, itty bitty little T-Rex :p

Also this Squirrel made me think of this:

Finally, after 5 years I have found aquatic life ... besides fish of course :p

They were living in a stream on the side of the train tracks, my dog actually got my attention when she was staring at the stream and I couldn't figure out why until these guts were swimming around.

For some reason my Tamy 150-500mm just couldn't focus and even when it did find it the image quality was so bad it looked like a compact camera shot. I don't know why my Sony FE 85mm f 1.8 was the lens that could get it even though the minimum focus distance is pretty limited. The reflections of the vegetation, sky and myself made it difficult to get them under the water.

I do have a 67mm circular polarizer filter I can try and next time I will bring my Tamy 70-180mm f 2.8 because it has better minimum focus distance and, hopefully, the IQ will hold up better.

You decide, wild or domestic? I think this is about as domestic as a hippopotamus can get.
