My wife and I develop deep attachments to our furry companions. We lost our little dog Rocky to cancer in July 2023, and our cat Molly to kidney failure in May of this year. We had them cremated and buried their ashes together in our back yard. My wife picked out the memorial, which is perfect because Molly was solid black and loved to chase butterflies.

The large standing stone with the sun behind it, dates back to the Dark ages , before the Norman invasion, so we were told , and was placed in this churchyard .
