Not a great photo, but special to me. Through ancestry.com and findagrave.com websites, I was able to locate the graves of my great-great-great-great grandparents in a small cemetery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was our first direct ancestor to migrate to America, coming here from Germany in 1759. Pretty special moment for me....wasn't too focused on composition.

Goodness, my husband has traced his family back to the 1700's..... all the way back to Tortola!

Cemetery visit, Veterans section. A6000 and 50mm SEL

Had a few minutes to stop off at one of our local cemeteries. 50mm SEL and A6000 , shot in either "S" or "A" mode, all handheld

I focused on a portion dedicated to Veterans.

I probably shouldn't be spending time in cemeteries the days before traveling east to my beloved mother's funeral. But I find this derelict place rather oddly consoling, and I have to do something as I await my flight to Boston next Tuesday morning.
