Hi Mike this is a Cemetery in Toronto Ontario Canada. Did you mean where is this Cemetery?

Yes, that's exactly what I meant (autotranslator is not the best means of communication). After World War II, when the Russian Communists occupied Poland (and installed their illegal government there), many Polish soldiers decided not to return home for fear of reprisals. There were a great many cases where soldiers fighting in the West were imprisoned and mistreated after returning home. Some were simply tortured and killed. These cemetery tombstones can be found in many countries, from France, Great Britain to Canada, where there was a large Polish population. This is a piece of our history. A piece that is little known, because the official textbooks of modern history were written by Stalin and Churchil. Our lands were simply handed over to the Russian oppressors. Maybe that's why we react to Russian aggression there now. We simply know firsthand what their love for neighboring nations looks like.

A Brief Life by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Onslow Thomas Carmody (a well-known name in the Kulin area of Western Australia), the son of Thomas and Emily was buried here in March 1884. He was eight months old.

Onslow succumbed, after a 900-kilometre journey travelling in a cart along the telegraph line from the old port of Cossack near Roebourne to Denham.

The headstone in this photo is an inaccurate copy of the original one.

Lonely Grave by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

This is the grave of Walter Musk who died on 18 October 1911 at age 60.

Walter and another man were taking fencing wire in a small sailboat west across the bay to Nielmah (Hamelin spelled backwards) Station.

Their vessel overturned and both men drowned. The body of the other man was never recovered.
