Steve McQueen epitomized cool.

And they don't come much cooler than the Porsche 908 Spyder that Steve McQueen drove in Sebring in 1970. McQueen and Peter Revson finished second, McQueen driving with a broken foot!

Yes, it's an 1:18 scale model by AudioArt. It's really beautifully painted and detailed. It actually comes with a little magnifying glass so you can examine the details. Note the simple, elagant pin striping in the bodywork. I especially like the little one under the Porsche insignia on the front radiator opening. Some other shots coming up.

Me, too. It's really interesting; it really makes the light look more natural. I worked the other two up with it, too.

I shot these with my beat to hell old Canon 550EX speedlite as a "monolight" shooting through a Promaster "speedlite soft box" and a Giottos tabletop "soft box" thingy. Used a Pocket Wizard on the X-Pro1 + 35/1.4 to trigger the speedlte.
