Fuji The Fujifilm X series image thread.

I think it's a great idea for an XF prime, but man, that asking price for an f3.5. Just seems too steep for me.
yes, it quite expensive. And you get a very small lightweight lens in return. I don't mind the f3.5, otherwise it would probably have become a rather big, complicated and even more expensive lens I guess. It's now so small and light it's easy to bring with you.
Tomorrow should be yet another beautiful day, and I think I'll visit either Haarlem or Amsterdam, and bring this lens. I'm curious how it will work out in town.

In 2012 I switched to Fujifilm with the X-Pro1. Though my main camera is the X-T5, I still dust off the X-Pro1 quite often.

Here are some photos from the first hike I did with the X-Pro1. Taken at Olympic National Park.

Barrel platform at local Elevated Park with X-E3 + Laowa 10mm Cookie.View attachment 419827

I really like this photograph, Gary.
I'll also confess: I briefly owned a Laowa Cookie, but couldn't quite figure out the best way or ways to use it. But looking at this image, I can see why it is a great little lens. It really works well with your subject here - and the perspective you are giving it.
Short version: great shot.

Thanks Miguel. Lots of mixed reviews on this lens, but it's a keeper for me. Love the compact size, and the 10cm minimum focus allows you to get fairly close to your subject, while taking in a wide view of the background.

Having used the 10-24, I really appreciated the 10mm end. Great for architecture and bridges and such.
