Multi question thread going on here but I'm pretty sure nothing is technically going to be a NEED vs being a WANT.
Recently I acquired a Canon 6d and a Sony RX1 after clearing out all of my Fuji gear. I couldn't pocket the RX1, so it wasn't really serving me a huge deal vs carrying my 6d around. Don't get me wrong, I loved it...but I just sold it to a friend so I could keep the 6d as my main FF DSLR for now. Now I find myself torn over where to look when it comes to a new ECD compact, lenses for the 6d and a new laptop (my 2011 MBP is still alive but I'm craving something new).
1. So how good is the Ricoh GR or the GR2 and do I need to consider it? I want something for every day use that will produce. I've had: Fuji x100, S and T. Not looking for anything smaller sensor wise, but the GR seems tempting in overall physical size. None found locally so I can't handle them in person. Not sure about the Nikon Coolpix A yet, but I think I'm leaning Ricoh on this. Totally open to other items, just looking to stay ASP-C sensor size.
2. For the 6d, I currently just use the 85mm 1.8 USM. Dropped and killed a cheap 35mm so I'm debating the EF 35mm 2.0 IS USM, or the 70-200mm f4L to get some reach and stay cheap. Both seem ideal right now.
3. With how old my laptop is, should I be focusing this attention on something like a new MBP with retina to keep up? Currently carry an iPhone 6s and iPad mini 2 with retina on me daily. I can't seem to talk myself into the new MacBook with retina even though it's gorgeous to look at. Just doesn't feel complete to me.
4. Just stick with the 6d 85mm combo, use my iPhone for daily snaps and eat good?
